Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report of Lazio’s interest in Oleksandr Zinchenko.
The €20m-rated star was one of the several City players who sustained an injury at the beginning of the season. After complete recovery, he now face a difficult task on fighting with Benjamin Mendy, Joao Cancelo and Nathan Ake for the leftback position in the team.
According to La Lazio Siamo Noi via Sport_Witness, the Ukrainian has emerged as a Janaury transfer ‘idea’ for Lazio.
The report adds that Intermediaries have ‘proposed’ the Man City defender to the Serie A side, and they are ‘thinking’ about it. But however, there have been no contacts.
The Ukrainian has made only three appearances for Pep Guardiola’s men this season, featuring just twice in the Premier League including his first league start of the campaign in City’s last league win over Chelsea.
At the age of 24, Zinchenko still has a lot of time to develop and will definitely need more game time to achieve that. It remains to be seen if the ‘idea’ to sign the Ukrainian can turn into a ‘concrete’ affair.

Sell him Asap. One good game in a year. He is literally giving us nothing. He is not a LB. We need real LB. Just sell him.
