Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Patrick Roberts is reportedly set to re-sign for Middlesbrough on a season-long loan deal.
City signed Roberts from Fulham for a fee in the region of £12m back in 2015. The 23-year-old has made only three appearances for Man City and has mostly played on loan to Celtic, Girona, Norwich City and Middlesbrough.
Roberts is seen as surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium and will be loaned out this transfer window.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Roberts is set to complete his loan move to Championship side Middlesbrough today.
The 23-year-old impressed after moving to the Riverside in the second half of last season. He played a key role in the successful battle for their Championship survival.
