Manchester City have have been linked with a move for Napoli striker Arkadiusz Milik, according to reports in Italy.
The Citizens who are now facing a period of weeks/months without a recognised senior striker are looking for cover.
Milik had been close to joining Roma earlier this month but after Edin Dzeko’s proposed switch to Juventus fell through, the Poland international’s future is now uncertain.
Tottenham have already held discussions over a deal for Milik as Jose Mourinho wants to sign a striker who can ease the workload on Harry Kane.

But according to Rai Sports reporter Ciro Venerato, Manchester City have also made an approach for Milik.
Ciro Venerato said: “As for [Arkaduisz] Milik, the intermediary told me that there’s informal talks with Leipzig, Man City, Man United, Fulham and Tottenham…” as cited by Metro.
The 26-year-old joined Napoli in 2016 for around €30M, and has netted 38 goals in 93 Serie A appearances.
