Manchester City will be monitoring an injury concern for Erling Haaland that occurred during Norway training this week.
Haaland, along with Oscar Bobb, has joined his Norwegian national team for upcoming friendly matches. The team will face Czech Republic and Slovakia before returning to their clubs for the rest of the season.
Despite not even playing the first match yet, Manchester City fans are worried about Haaland’s fitness after a video showed him struggling during training.
Reports suggest that Haaland could not complete the session due to an unknown issue, raising concerns about his availability for Norway’s upcoming games.
Haaland’s recent setback comes after recovering from a two-month injury that kept him out of action for Manchester City during the winter months and the FIFA Club World Cup.
City will be hoping that Haaland’s problem is not serious, as they face a busy schedule with important fixtures including matches against Arsenal, Real Madrid, and Chelsea in the coming weeks.
They also have Premier League games against Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, as well as postponed matches against Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur to reschedule.
