Manchester City, the Premier League champions, have announced a four-match tour of the United States this summer as part of their preparations for the upcoming season.
This tour follows their successful tour of far-east Asia before the current campaign and marks a return to the USA, where they prepared for their Treble-winning season in 2022/23.
Manchester City will play four matches in four different states along the eastern side of the United States, facing teams like FC Barcelona and Chelsea along the way.
The pre-season period will kick off with a match against Celtic at Kenan Stadium, Chapel Hill on 23 July as announced in an official club statement.
They will then play AC Milan at Yankee Stadium in New York City on 27 July, marking 10 years since their last meeting in the 2014 pre-season tour.
Manchester City will also face Barcelona at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on 30 July and Chelsea at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio on 3 August.
This tour will give Manchester City supporters the chance to see new signings and young players in action before the 2024/25 season.
City is expected to include City Football Group starlet Savio in the pre-season roster, along with young right-back talent Yan Couto, who recently received his first senior Brazil cap.
