Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have  added Borussia Dortmund starlet Jude Bellingham to their transfer Wishlist to replace Fernandinho for the summer of 2022.

The 18-year-old has impressed in every step of his meteoric career, from Birmingham City’s academy, to their first team, to Borussia Dortmund, on to the continental competition and now on to the highest stage of them all.

The England international’s eye-catching displays over the course of the previous campaign for club and country has attracted interest from some of elite sides across the continent.

Bellingham’s existing deal with the Black and Yellow does not expire until 2025, but Chelsea and Liverpool are rumoured to be planning swoops for the 18-year-old at the end of this season.

Now, the Daily Star claims that Man City are preparing to join the race for Bellingham, who they view as the ideal successor for Fernandinho at the Etihad Stadium.

With Jack Grealish being City’s only major signing over the summer, Bellingham – who is valued at £49.5m by Transfermarkt – could be the perfect future transfer for Manchester City.

In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
