Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a claim by Barcelona presidential candidate on Eric Garcia’s willingness to play for the Catalan club for nothing until the end of the season if his transfer can be agreed this window.
The highly-rated 20-year-old centre-back has been linked with a return to his boyhood club Barcelona
Garcia, whose contract at the Etihad runs out in the summer, has his heart set on returning to Barcelona and has even agreed personal terms with the club.
The 20-year-old is also keen on moving to Barcelona this month, but is understanding of the Spanish club’s ongoing financial difficulties.
Barcelona presidential candidate, Victor Font has stated that the signing of Eric Garcia is ‘possible’ this week, and the Premier League club are willing to sell for €3M plus variables.
‘We’re asking the acting board to sign Garcia. City would accept €3m plus add-ons and we wouldn’t have to pay until next season. The player’s also ready to not be paid a salary until the end of the season,’ Victor Font said
In reaction to the news shared on Twitter, many Man City fans who are tired of this Garcia saga have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

If he isn’t staying then better option would be to send him on loan . Barca is not in a condition to sign a player
