Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Edin Dzeko’s agent has ‘set to work’ to get the Bosnian back to the Etihad.
Given his bust-up with his manager, Dzeko may well be available for a loan move before the January window closes as Roma simply look to get him out of the way.
There were suggestion from Il Tempo yesterday City could take Dzeko back to fix a rebuilding attack and perhaps even offer the Bosnian a future as an executive at the Etihad if he completes January transfer.
According Corriere dello Sport via Sport witness, the 35 years of age striker’s agent has ‘set to work to complete’ a deal taking his client back to Manchester City, but However added that it is ‘very difficult’ as Guardiola only plays with one striker, most of the time this season, and already has many options in the role.
The report even went ahead to claim the responses from Man City so far have been negative and that Dzeko hopes to return to the Etihad.
Despite being 34 years of age now, the Bosnia and Herzegovina captain would still have a lot to offer not only in terms of his leadership both on and off the pitch.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and Man City Chief, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions. With many fans gunning for the return of the Bosnian striker, some believe it will be a bad move.
Pep don’t bottle this. We won’t be able to last without a striker for long

We don’t need him wouldn’t fit are style of play things are work spot on at the minute

Not sure why you think we need him. We’ve got Sergio backed up by Jesus and Delap and Torres, Foden, Silva and Sterling who can all play false 9.

Genuinely don't understand why we even want him

I love Dzeko, but when he was with us his conversion rate was frustrating. He'd always score the harder goals, but he'd miss the easier chances

Too slow for our brand of football. It could be as bad a move as Bony.

Tbh as much as I want him it would be better to try and get aguero back fit
