Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims the club is have shortlisted Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli ahead of a potential summer move.

Locatelli, 23, joined Sassuolo from AC Milan in 2018, initially on loan before making his switch permanent last year in a transfer which cost the Serie A club £11.25m, as per Transfermarkt.

The $38.50m-rated midfielder has developed into one of the best central midfielders in Serie A. Despite a decent two seasons with Sassuolo, Locatelli could be set for a big move.

According to an exclusive report from the Mail, Manchester City officials have ‘shortlisted’ Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli ahead of a potential move in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report adds that Juventus, who tried to sign him last summer are another of Europe’s top clubs monitoring the Italian mildflielder.

Locatelli now has six caps for his country, a Sassuolo contract that runs until 2023 and is expected to cost at least £30m.
