Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports to yet another on Eric Garcia’s potential move to Barcelona.
The Spain international Garcia is in the final year of his contract at City and was linked with a switch back to his boyhood club Barcelona during the close season.
Barca attempted to sign the 19-year-old in but failed to agree a fee with City. The premier league club reportedly rejected Barcelona’s offer of €10 million, plus €8m in add-ons, standing firm on their demand of a total package worth €20 million for the 19-year-old.
Garcia is out of contract at the Manchester City at the end of the season and is free to negotiate pre-contract terms with European clubs this month. But it now looks like he’ll move in January after all.
According to Mundo Deportivo, City have agreed to lower their fee and accept a €5 million sum for Eric Garcia to make the move to Barcelona this month.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra and City Chief, Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Brilliant news, a player who wanted out cleared out of the squad and €5m for free practically. Obviously it would have been better to take the €18m but nothing we can do about that now.
We should’ve just taken it last summer

So we didnt sell him when we had back ho centre backs but now that our back ups are injured we plan on selling him, this club can be such a joke sometimes, we must be the worst sellers in history

So we lost €10m more we could’ve got for him 4 months ago and all we got to show for it is 2 PL starts and a pen conceded in a 5-2 trashing. Txiki fanboys will defend this somehow

Serves us right. Should’ve taken the €20m when we had the chance. Another robbery of a sale. Add that to Sancho, Sané and Adarabioyo. Hopefully one day we’ll learn.

Why do y’all care so much about the prices of player sales. You not losing anything, it’s the club’s problem not us fans😭😭
