Manchester City wide-man Oleksandr Zinchenko has reportedly been offered to Barcelona in a surprise potential transfer deal.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Oleksandr Zinchenko has been offered to the Catalan club during this transfer window and that Barça keeps him in their portfolio in case they have to strengthen their position.
The reports adds that as of today there is nothing and no negotiations between City ans Barcelona for the versatile Ukraine international. The option would only be considered if Barça ends up transferring Junior Firpo.
Zinchenko has failed to nail down a place in Guardiola’s starting XI. The Ukranian has had to share his responsibilities and playing time at left-back with Frenchman Benjamin Mendy

Zinchenko began last season as first choice left-back but failed to capitalise on his opportunity and started just three of the 14 games after lockdown.
Zinchenko who has a contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2024 played in 25 games for City last season in all competitions.
At the age of 23, Zinchenko still has a lot of time to develop and may be the type of player Barcelona can initially sign if they believe he has a bright future at the club.
