Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Manchester City are the favourites to complete the signing of Cameron Coxe, following his departure from Cardiff.
The right back’s departure from the Bluebirds shocked some supporters with the 21-year-old having been mooted as a star in the making.
The attacking full-back has represented Wales from Under-17s to under-21s and he was also named in the senior squad for last summer’s friendly with Mexico, and has attracted plenty of admirers.
Cardiff City released the right-back this season with manager Neil Harris seeing no future for the 21-year-old, having made just four appearances after his first-team debut back in 2017.
According to WalesOnline, Pep Guardiola sees the Wales under-21 international differently after City’s scouting of the youngster, with the Etihad Stadium side ready to pounce after waiting for his contract to expire.
Should he join the Citizens, he would most likely be sent out on loan to one of our sister clubs around the world.
