Kyle Walker has revealed his desire to deliver Manchester City’s first ever Club World Cup title.
Pep Guardiola’s side booked their ticket to Saudi Arabia when they secured Manchester City’s first ever Champions League title, downing Inter Milan in Istanbul to complete a historic treble in June.
Having already secured the club’s first UEFA Super Cup trophy earlier in the 2023/24 campaign, beating Europa League winners Sevilla in penalty-kicks, the Blues will tick the Club World Cup box next.
While it may not be the most prestigious trophy on offer to the reigning Premier League champions, club captain Kyle Walker was quick to point out his motivation to make their mark in Riyadh….
