Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is lining up a shock move for Real Madrid veteran Toni Kroos.
Kroos’s current deal at Bernabeu is due to expire next June, though, meaning that, as it stands, he would be able to hold talks with foreign clubs in January over a pre-contract.
Sensational claims have emerged from Spain that say Kroos is a target for City in January – despite the club adding Kalvin Phillips to the squad in the summer.
According to Diario SPORT, Toni Kroos is on the radar of Manchester City as the Midfielder has been prioritized by the defending champions as a part of their summer overhaul.
As per the report, Manchester City are ready to lure him in by offering him a staggering €13-14 million per season, which would be an improvement on his current salary of around €9 million per year.
The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.
