Bernardo Silva has provided a new response to fresh questions on his Manchester City future, following a summer of uncertainty for the Portugal international.

The 28 year-old is understood to have become somewhat unhappy with his life off the pitch in Manchester, seeking a move back into Europe and closer to his home of Portugal.

He was heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou over the summer, but a move never materialised and he remained at the Etihad Stadium.

Now, speaking after the weekend’s 3-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League, Bernardo Silva stressed his focus on the ongoing season and achieving success alongside his fellow Manchester City teammates.

Silva said, “I have both eyes on winning the Premier League, and trying to win the Champions League, Carabao and FA Cup.

“At the end of the season, we’ll see what happens. But right now, I’m going to give my best for the club and will give my best as long as I play here.”

It remains to be seen what will happen in the near future regarding Bernardo Silva’s future.

These Bernardo’s Silva’s comments shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.
