Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Erling Haaland has already started work on trying to bring Jude Bellingham to the Etihad next summer.

The 19-year-old in is the most wanted midfielder in the world at the moment, with every big club across the club more than interested in making him their next big money signing.

Bellingham has made a name for himself in Germany, and a move to a bigger club in England or Spain seems destined to happen in the near future for the player.

All the top clubs have an interest in Bellingham. As per The Athletic, United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in Bellingham, while Real Madrid are also thought to have the Englishman on their radar.

The Sun Sport reported last week that Manchester City are convinced they will win what is sure to be a battle of the big guns to bring him to England.

The report went ahead to claim City are certainly best-placed to do that, as well as offering the best chance of silverware – and the opportunity to link up with his old Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland.

According to the information of CBS’ Ben Jacobs, Haaland has already told Jude Bellingham to join Manchester City next summer, ahead of a long line of interested suitors.

However, it is highlighted that Real Madrid are ‘confident’ in signing the midfielder, despite Borussia Dortmund intent on offering the player a new deal after the World Cup.

As per Ben Jacobs, Bellingham has not ‘picked’ Real just yet as he’s keeping his options open. Liverpool and Manchester City still very much involved in an open race.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
