‘Would be more than perfect for him’, ‘Get him in ASAP’, ‘Pay the cash’ – Marc Cucurella update has Many Man City fans talking

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update on the club’s pursuit of Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella.

In the last few weeks, the Citizens are believed to be on the lookout for a new left-back this summer, and Brighton & Hove Albion’s Marc Cucurella has been identified as one of their primary transfer targets.

The former Barcelona man scooped up Brighton’s Player of the year award as a result of his commanding displays (The Argus), although Graham Potter’s side could now be braced to receive plenty of transfer interest.

It was recently reported by The Sun that Man City have become embroiled in a three-way battle alongside Totherham Hotspur and Chelsea to prise Cucurella away from Brighton, who allegedly valued the wide man at £45 million.

El Desmarque later claimed the valuation is much lower, noting he could be acquired at a price starting from as little as £25 million instead.

According to the latest report from ESPN, the former Barcelona full-back Marc Cucurella is on the list of potential targets, and Brighton’s asking price of £35m is not considered overly problematic.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
