‘When will this be sorted?’, ‘Please Erling, ‘don’t disappoint us’ – Haaland fresh transfer update has Many Man City fans worried

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report to yet another update on the club’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Braut Haaland ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Citizens are believed to be leading the race for the 21-year-old’s signature, while La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on his situation.

Various reports claim the reigning Premier League champions are the firm favourites to sign the imperious Norwegian who has contributed a sensational 23 goals and six assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.

Although reports that a deal has been agreed are premature as things stand, a new development from a high-ranking source in the latter has provided new information, which will most likely get Many Man City fans attention.

According to Jason Burt in the Telegraph, Sources at Man City and close to Erling Haaland insist that the striker has not made a final decision on where he will play next season.

As per the report, the Premier League giants and Real Madrid both have deals in place for Erling Haaland – transfer fee, wages and agents commission – and they only have to be given the go-ahead depending on where the player chooses.

Jason Burt says that, despite the existing tension between the pair, it has not harmed negotiations for Haaland, or a growing confidence at City that the player will sign for them.

The report went further to claims that City have the framework for Haaland, and have invested the time with him, his father, Alfie, and Mino Raiola which has made them cautiously optimistic.
