Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has pinned Joao Cancelo as his perfect transfer for the Bundesliga giants.
The Portugal international, who joined Manchester City in 2019 from Juventus, has been one of the best fullbacks in the Premier League this season.
The 27-year-old has taking his performances at left-back to a whole new level and has evolved into something entirely on a different level under Guardiola’s tutelage.
He was recently rewarded with a new long-term contract by Manchester City, extending his stay at the Etihad until the summer of 2027.
According to Sport Bild, the Bundesliga head coach one day wants to bring the Portuguese international to Bavaria, with Nagelsmann viewing Cancelo as his ‘dream signing’ for Bayern.
As per the report, though, Nagelsmann understands that a move for Joao Cancelo will be next-to-impossible to complete, with the City superstar one of Pep Guardiola’s most important players and the defender having a contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2027.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
