Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Gabriel Jesus‘ dwindling contract is attracting interest from a host of European clubs.
The 24-year-old is one of the senior players who had been linked with a move away from City during last summer transfer window.
The Brazilian has reinvigorated his Manchester City career this campaign with 6 goals and 9 assists in 25 appearances so far in all competitions but has not played since returning from international duty with Brazil due to injury.
The €60m-rated star has 18 months left on his contract at Manchester City, and with no sign of a new contract, rumors as early as this weekend have hinted that Gabriel Jesus could sign before the window opens this Summer.
According to Graeme Bailey of 90min, City are confident on agreeing a contract extension for Jesus before the end of the season.
However, as per the report, Jesus’ situation is being monitored by the likes of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain – all of whom have been credited with an interest in the Brazil international.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.

Sorry? Jesús 🇧🇷 is one our best players men. City MUST renew his contract like with Bernardo 🇵🇹.

I feel he may be the one that leaves to make way for Alvarez

It’s fine Jesus can go.
Especially now since it can’t be Mahrez or Sterling.
Jesus is the only expendable one https://t.co/cwf0A7YxzT— Richard Parker Fontein (@laaaities) February 22, 2022
Sell for a good price now
