Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Real Madrid are not interested in Bernardo Silva.
Bernardo Silva has been in fantastic form this season, but reports from Italy say he has an uncertain future at Manchester City.
The 27-year-old was reportedly unhappy last summer and was given the green light to leave, but no deal materialised as City didn’t receive an acceptable bid.
Italian outlet Calciomercato early this week reported that Real Madrid were ‘carefully designing’ a plan to convince Bernardo Silva to head to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
The report went ahead to even suggest that the playmaker is ‘dreaming’ of sealing a sensational switch to Real Madrid should he decide to take up a new challenge at the end of the season.
However, according to a Real Madrid fan Magazine MadridistaReal on social media, there is no interest from the La Liga club in Bernardo Silva – with the focus instead on other targets.
The €75m-rated star has been an integral part to Pep Guardiola’s side this season as they push to win another league title and go one better in the Champions League.
The Portuguese star has registered 10 goals and three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side since the start of the campaign.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
