Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays another update on the future of Spanish forward Ferran Torres.
Barcelona have publicly confirmed they want to sign Torres, who only joined City from Valencia 18 months ago, with the Spanish international open to leaving if a deal can be agreed.
City are ready to let him leave on a permanent basis, but Signing Ferran Torres from the Premier League champions could be a step too far for Barcelona financially as their economic woes are well known.
Reports in Spain suggest a deal has been agreed for Barcelona to sign Manchester City winger, with Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano offering a new update on the transfer.
According to Fabrizio Romano speaking on the latest episode of his ‘Here We Go’ podcast, Manchester City want around €60M for Ferran Torres, with Barcelona offering around €50M.
Further details suggest that while the 21-year old ‘wants to go’ to the Catalan giants, he will remain ‘respectful’ and is not keen on the idea of forcing a move out of the Etihad Stadium.
The report was shared on Twitter and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.

Atleast he isn’t forcing out

That’s why we shouldn’t disrespect him

I’m curious how good he’d be if he is fighting for his place

Don’t care, let him go. I will not have him spitting in the face of David Silva, who graciously stayed at the club for a decade.

Im not sure why a lot of people are mad at torres? He wants home and this is the perfect opportunity for him, playing regularly and as a striker for Barcelona and he is still young. Happens a lot, doesnt matter if they are in EL or not

i agree with u but people are pissed off cos he said he was gonna take on david silvas legacy and when silva got approached by barca and madrid year after year even when they were winning everything he turned them down bc he loved us, but torres has gone the first chance he’s got
