Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Harry kane ‘would not be against’ signing a new deal at Tottenham.
Kane has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad this summer and remains Pep Guardiola’s top target.
speculation around his future heightened when he failed to appear at Hotspur Way for training with his team-mates as he had been expected to do.
Since the ill reports, the English captain has reported back for practice, which was this Saturday past, and has also now made himself available for team selection for their opening Premier League fixture against Manchester City.
Tottenham have been determined not to sell to a Premier League rival, but Guardiola has revealed his team will try to snatch Kane away from the north Londoners.
Manchester City even submitted a £100 million bid to take the star striker away from North London. However, Daniel Levy is adamant about the transfer fee and is not willing to sell him for a discounted price to an EPL rival.
According to Tottenham Hotspur correspondent for football.london Alasdair Gold via The Spurs Express, there are ‘noises’ coming out of Harry Kane’s camp hinting that the striker ‘would not be against’ signing a new deal at Tottenham.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

We swerved Messi for him
i remember all this being said about Grealish and everyone being pessimistic about him coming, don’t worry

This is why we should have at least contacted Messi once….if Harry wants to stay let him stay…please go all out for Haaland and get him like Chelsea got Lukaku…if we can pay 100 mil for Grealish then a striker is a much bigger necessity!

😂. If HK does that, no one will buy him next summer or beyond, even if there is a release clause cuz of his age and injury record. Its now or never for HK.

He's out of his mind if he signs a new deal. How on earth could you repeat such a costly mistake? If he wants to stay, just stay. Only way this makes any sort of sense is if he gets a huge pay rise and inserts a really cheap release clause for next summer.
