Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club will complete £100m transfer deal for Jack Grealish on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old’s future has been one of the biggest talking points of the summer transfer window, alongside that of his England teammate Harry Kane.

Grealish had returned to training with Aston Villa on Monday in London after his holidays in Mykonos and Dubrovnik after playing at the European Championship.

Grealish was thought to be considering turning down interest from the Citizens in order to sign a new and improved contract at Villa Park.

However, according to Daily Mail report, Grealish will complete his 100 million pound move to Aston Villa today (Wednesday).

The report added that Grealish is due in Manchester to sign his contract ahead of completing what would be a British record transfer deal.

England star Grealish is understood to have held discussions with Villa’s sporting director Johan Lange and made it clear it was time for him to move on.

Grealish is believed to have chatted to Lange, Dean Smith and owners Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris to finalise his exit.

The 25-year-old will now get the chance to play on the Champions League stage and cement himself into the plans of England boss Gareth Southgate.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
