Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Antoine Griezman’s agent is to travel to England and speak with the club this week.
Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload Griezmann, who is considered as Harry Kane alternatives as there are doubt over the club’s ability to get him through the door.
Barcelona are riddled with debt and cannot register Lionel Messi’s new contract until the La Liga outfit reduce their spending, and the Frenchman is among the players that the Catalan giants will look to offload.
According to Daily Star, Representatives of Antoine Griezmann are expected to arrive in England this week to sound out interest from Manchester City and Chelsea in the Barcelona forward.
Griezmann is on a mammoth contract with Barcelona, hence the club’s desire to offload him in order to be able to register new signings like Aguero, Eric Garcia and Memphis Depay for next season.
Griezmann earns £594,000-per-week at the Camp Nou, after joining from Atletico Madrid in a £107m deal back in 2019. His Barcelona contract also contains a £717m release clause, but he will leave for far less should he be sold.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Chief, many Man City fans have been sharing their thoughts and opinions.

He’d have to take a pay cut. Ain’t no way this man earning more than KDB.
Not a bad player but not what we need. We need an out and out striker who guarenteed minimum 30 goals a season. Unfortunately griezmann isn’t that anymore
