Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims the club have approached Sergio Ramos and are willing to offer him a two-year contract.
The Real Madrid legend has enjoyed an incredible and trophy-laden 16-year career with Madrid, but he’s now allowed his contract in Spain to run down without agreeing terms for a new deal.
Although 35-years-old, the centre-half is still regarded as one of the best in the business and therefore has a lot of suitors in terms of his future team.
According to ESPN, Manchester City have made an enquiry to sign Sergio Ramos, who is now considering offers from the Blues, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich before taking a decision on his future.
The report claims the premier league champions have offered the centre-back a two-year deal which would be ‘reassessed’ in the summer of 2023.
The report states that Pep Guardiola is keen to bring in an experienced defender during the transfer window.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter City Chief and City Xtra, many Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

This would only make sense if Laporte leaves. Ramos’ experience on a free would be great. And he can still ball when healthy.

That’s what I was thinking. We may don’t need another cb, but we need someone to take penalties 🤣

So Dias, Laporte, Stones, Aké AND Sergio Ramos are going to fight over 2 centre-back positions? Give me a break

wouldn’t be a bad signing tbf depends what he’s wanting wages wise and with bonuses I guess but he’s still top of his game and given that it’s a free transfer…. interesting

If Laporte moves, this will be one of the smartest buys we could make this summer. https://t.co/UwOw4Rv2JN

Obviously, I have no idea if this is true. But he can still play and, more importantly, he’s a winner. He’d being a certain mentality into the dressing room.
