‘Very nice’, ‘Can’t wait to see this gem’ – Fans reacts as Man City poised to ‘complete’ transfer of England ace

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have ‘completed’ a move for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish for £88M.

Reports over the course of the past month have suggested that the Villa midfielder has been attracting significant levels following his impressive season and is poised to move to the Etihad Stadium.

The speculation surrounding a move to Man City has gathered pace in recent days, with the Premier League champions seemingly in the driving seat for his signature.

According to CaughtOffside, an £88m fee has been agreed between the two parties, which is understood to have been in place since the end of last season.

The report claims the 25-year-old midfielder is stated to be joining on a five-year deal which will be officially announced once Euro 2020 concludes.

Whether the report is totally accurate is open to debate. The most trusted journalist in football – Fabrizio Romano – stated on June 26 that there is still “nothing advanced” between City and Villa regarding Grealish.

The Italian did confirm that Grealish is a top targets for premier league champions. However, he added that a final decision would not be made until after the Euros.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Villa are attempting to splash the cash on Smith-Rowe, and have signed Buendia for £30 million – both attacking midfielders. It’s almost as if they have have come into some cash, some how..

As with all transfers believe it when the photo of the player holding up the shirt in front of the Stand is hitting the press. Until then it remains speculation and as we know with transfer speculation, sling enough mud and some of it will stick to the the right target.
