Manchester City supporters have been reacting on Twitter after Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish uploaded a post on Instagram showing some appreciation for Carlos Tevez during his time at the Etihad.
Reports over the course of the past week have suggested that the Villa midfielder has been attracting significant levels of interest from City ahead of a possible big-money move this coming summer.
The 25-year-old England international hasn’t just been one of the best players in England this season, but arguably one of the most impressive around Europe.
Football Insider last weel claimed Grealish had told friends he would be ‘interested’ in joining City this summer, and is ‘excited’ about playing at a Champions League side as well as developing under Pep Guardiola.
Grealish, who have previously spoken of his admiration for De Bruyne, uploaded to his Instagram story about former Manchester City Star Carlos Tevez, showing some appreciation for the Argentine striker during his time at the Etihad.
This post shared on Twitter by City Xtra gathered numerous replies from City fans who are all saying the same thing, with many even suggesting that this is proof that a deal to take Grealish from Villa to the Etihad is all but complete.
