Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is reportedly close to agreeing a two-year deal with Catalan giants Barcelona.
The City Legend’s contract at the Etihad is due to expire at the end of June, and it appears increasingly likely that the Argentine, who has struggled with injuries this season could be allowed to move on after 10 years at the club.
His future has been the subject of speculation recently, with Inter Milan, Barcelona and PSG reportedly interested in signing the striker.
A recent report from TyC Sports claimed that Barcelona have already presented a ‘formal offer’ for the City legend as part of their continued search to find a solution to retain Lionel Messi’s services at the Camp Nou.
According to the Spanish outlet AS, Sergio Aguero is set to sign for Barcelona in a 2-year deal when he becomes a free agent in the summer.
The Newly elected president Joan Laporta is said to have okayed the deal to sign the Argentine for free along with another Manchester City player, Eric Garcia, whom Pep Guardiola has confirmed will be joining the Blaugrana for the 2021-22 campaign.
Aguero has been out with injury for most of this season and scored his first goal of the season at the weekend against Fulham.
