Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claim the club is favourites for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish’s signature in the summer transfer window.
The England international who is having a superb campaign this season featured on City’s list of potential recruits during the last transfer window and he was admired at Etihad.
According to the Daily Mail, the Cityzens are emerging as the favourites to sign the Aston Villa midfielder – who could attract a transfer fee upwards of £100 million in the upcoming summer market.
The report claims Grealish is also excited about a potential move to Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola known to be a huge admirer of Villa captain.
The report add that Villa – obviously – don’t want to lose their captain, but would understand if their No.10 wanted to play at a higher level, and would not stand in his way if a suitable offer arrived.
The Englishman was vital that season with seven goals and 12 assists in 23 appearances this season.
