Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a reports that claims Barcelona are interested in signing Sergio Aguero on a free transfer this summer.
With the 32-year-old’s current deal at the Etihad due to expire next June, his future has been the subject of speculation recently, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly interested in signing the strike.
The former Athletico Madrid striker is currently free to agree pre-contract terms elsewhere, although it is understood that he would like to remain with the Premier League club.
Football agent Bruno Satin on Canal+ early this week reported that new PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino’s transfer priority at PSG is to sign Agüero at the end of this season.
According to an exclusive report from the Sun, La Liga super club FC Barcelona is also keeping a close eye on the situation.
So far this season, the £31.5 million-rated star has started just two Premier League games under Pep Guardiola, predominantly down to a number of different injuries.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by Man City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
He deserves one year contract extension at City. Our Best player ever 💙💙💙

“People wants to give him extension while he is struggling with fitness over a half of year. Being legend is being legend, ability to play at the highest level is something else. He is 33 and he is not a machine,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “If we let this Legend walk to PSG for free, Txiki will have to answer some questions. He’s worth at least a year-long extension. It would be great on the pitch and off to have Kün and Messi together; even if for one season (assuming Messi comes to his senses).“
One City fan joked: “I would sacrifice half my family for his renewal“
While a further City supporter commented: “If we are looking from a business point of view it makes sense to let him go. If he stays fit but obviously as a fan you want Aguero to be at city until he dies
