Barca attempted to sign the 19-year-old in but failed to agree a fee with City. The premier league club reportedly rejected Barcelona’s offer of €10 million, plus €8m in add-ons, standing firm on their demand of a total package worth €20 million for the 19-year-old.
The La Liga outfit are determined to sign the youngster in January. Garcia as well is determined to return to his hometown club, which he left to join City’s youth ranks in 2017, and has no intention of penning a new deal in England despite being under pressure to agree fresh terms. His new expires at the end of the 2020/2021 campaign.

So he stays around stinking up the place for another 6 months with no commit mentality before leaving for free? Why can’t we just sell him cheap in Jan

Funny that, we had the same idea about Messi 👍

@FCBarcelona Garcia is our best and most important player. The only way this deal goes through is if you offer £50m + Messi. Take it or leave it.
