Manchester City want to sign Everton left back Lucas Digne during the January transfer window.
The full-back spot in particular remains an issue and with Benjamin Mendy failing to push his game on, a new left back is high on the priority list.
According to the Daily Mail, the City boss fancies Everton star Digne, who is enjoying another impressive season at Goodison Park after producing a series of productive displays on the left side of the Toffees defence.
The report adds that Ajax ace Nicolas Tagliafico, who has been linked several time with the club is also a target for Pep Guardiola.

Is Digne The Right Choice For The Citizens?
A left-back of Digne’s skillset will be a brilliant addition to Citys squad if Pep Guardiola can find a way to convince the former Lille defender to seal a move to the Etihad Stadium this January.
The 27-year-old, who cost £18 million is a deadly asset from set-pieces, while his overlaps and deliveries into the box are consistently brilliant. He has amassed four assists in eight Premier League games this season.
The French Man, who has played for European giants such as PSG and Barcelona will be a significant upgrade over Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko due to his consistency at both ends of the field.
