Manchester City centre-back Eric Garcia has been ruled out for ‘two or three weeks’ with an unspecified leg injury.
The defender, who has been heavily linked with a switch to Barcelona in January or next summer, was forced off in the first half of the Blues’ Champions League match against Marseille.
Ahead of the Manchester derby on Saturday afternoon, Pep Guardiola provided an updated on the defender’s injury situation.
“Eric Garcia is not fit and he will be out for two or three weeks,” said Guardiola.
