Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Oleksandr Zinchenko wouldn’t consider leaving Etihad for a club that’s fighting for ‘lower places’ in the Premier League table.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, who had hoped to land the Ukrainian in the summer are reportedly ready to renew their interest in Sky Blues makeshift left-back.
Zinchenko was one of the several City players who sustained an injury at the beginning of the season. After complete recovery, he now face a difficult task on fighting with Benjamin Mendy, Joao Cancelo and Nathan Ake for the leftback position in the team.
He has made only six appearances this season, featuring just once in the Premier League.
According to Ukrainian journalist Igor Tsyganyk as relayed by Sport Witness, Zinchenko’s desire, for now, is to continue at the Etihad despite the facts Wolves can offer regular playing time, lengthy contract and ‘pay big money’ to the former PSV Eindhoven loanee.
Tsyganyk claims that Zinchenko wouldn’t consider leaving City for a club that’s fighting for ‘lower places’ in the Premier League table, and will only leave for a ‘top 3 club’ from the best five leagues in Europe.

He deserves respect. His attitude very professional. But game time must be a priority for a player, and preferably in his natural position as midfielder, where he is not for Mcfc

Mad how everyone loved him when he signed his contract 18 months ago and now everyone thinks he’s the worst player in the history of the club. There’s a message there. Probably.
