Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that claims Manchester United are fearful they could miss out on Mauricio Pochettino to Manchester City.
The Argentine, who was sacked by Spurs last November, is under consideration to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford, with the pressure building on the Norwegian after a terrible start to the campaign.
While City have been constantly linked with Former Tottenham boss with the future of their managers shrouded in doubt.
Guardiola’s contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of next season, and there have been suggestions that the Spaniard could walk away from the Citizens at the end of his current deal.
This is already the longest time Guardiola has spent at a single club, with four and three seasons at Barcelona and Bayern respectively.
According to the Metro, United are fearful they could miss out on Mauricio Pochettino to Man City if they wait until the end of the season to move for the Argentine.
The report adds that the Argentine is admired by City’s heirachy, who are unsure if Pep Guardiola will commit his future to the club beyond the end of the current season.
