Report: Man City set sights on three Inter players

Manchester City are ‘still there’ in the race for Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez and are also keeping tabs on defenders Milan Skriniar and Alessandro Bastoni, According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via FCInterNews.it)

Pep Guardiola is understood to be keen to really strengthen the side having ended up so far behind Liverpool this season and he could do that with the addition of three Nerazzurri players.

One name which keeps cropping up, when City’s plans are mentioned, is Lautaro Martinez, whose parallels with Aguero are uncanny. The 22-year-old Inter Milan striker made his name in the tough Argentine Premier Division by scoring 27 goals in 60 appearances for Racing Club.

According to the report, Inter could move Skriniar on if a big offer arrives for him but they seemingly have no intention of letting Bastoni go and have already scheduled a meeting with his agents to discuss a new contract.

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus emergency, it remains to be seen how the transfer window will shape up this summer. Either way, we can expect to see some big deals
