A current Manchester City player could have his sights set on heading to the Saudi Pro League sooner rather than later.
It seems like Saudi Arabia has replaced the United States as the go-destination for players — especially when they either feel their time at the top-level has come to an end or if they desire a change of scenery.
Kyle Walker did not rule out a future move to the Saudi Pro League, while speaking to FIVE’s official YouTube channel in May.
The Manchester City right-back also admitted that with the huge financial offers that clubs in Saudi Arabia present to players, it plays a massive role in their decision to say yes to such moves.
One player at the Etihad Stadium who has constantly been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia is Kevin De Bruyne — with the 33-year-old stating that at his age, he must be “open to everything” while admitting that the money he could earn over a two-year as a Saudi Pro League player is a factor worth considering.
