Stuart Pearce has named one Manchester City player he hopes has a strong tournament in the Euros.
Having brought an end to another successful season, which saw the Manchester club win the UEFA SuperCup, FIFA Club World Cup and a fourth consecutive Premier League title, the focus for a lot of figures in the City squad will now be on the European Championship.
In fact, the Blues have more players representing their countries in the Euros (14) than any other side in the Premier League.
Ahead of the tournament, Pearce pinpointed one particular player in Pep Guardiola’s ranks that he wants to see shine in Germany over the next month.
