Three of Manchester City’s English players are currently representing the Three Lions at the 2024 European Championship.
With two group games played, England won their opening match against Serbia 1-0 and recently drew 1-1 against Denmark.
In Thursday’s game, the Three Lions had fewer shots than Denmark (16 vs 12) and entered the final third of the pitch on fewer occasions than their opponents (56 vs 48).
All three of City’s English players in the squad, Phil Foden, John Stones and Kyle Walker, have started both matches for Gareth Southgate’s side.
After the recent match against Denmark, Gary Neville highlighted one thing he saw Foden do in the first half that he felt ended up being one of the few positive points in the game.
While assessing England’s 1-1 draw on ITV, Neville had this to say about what he saw Foden do.
