Joao Cancelo’s refusal to agree to a permanent move could cost Manchester City €30m this summer, as Barcelona is only interested in another loan deal for the full-back. It appears that Cancelo’s strong desire to join Barcelona is a significant factor in these negotiations, leaving City at risk of losing out on a lucrative transfer fee if they are unable to find a suitable compromise.
