Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville believes that Manchester City still have a big hurdle to overcome in order to win the Premier League title. Neville points to City’s upcoming match against Tottenham as a pivotal fixture that could potentially see the reigning champions drop points. He urges Arsenal and Liverpool to try to get to that game in front of City and put pressure on them to have to win the last two games of the season.
City have struggled against Tottenham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with no league wins at the ground since Spurs moved in back in 2019. While they have won in cup competitions, this league match will be a tough challenge for Guardiola’s side. Neville sees this fixture as a significant obstacle in City’s quest for a sixth Premier League title in seven seasons.
City’s remaining Premier League fixtures include games against Brighton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fulham, and West Ham before facing Tottenham away. Neville emphasizes the importance of the Tottenham game and the pressure that Arsenal and Liverpool can apply by staying in front of City in the title race.
