Manchester City’s legendary playmaker Kevin De Bruyne is likely to receive interest and offers from Saudi Arabia this summer, as his current contract with Manchester City is set to expire at the end of the season. Despite enduring a complex season due to injuries, De Bruyne has still managed to deliver crucial performances that have helped Manchester City in their pursuit of a historic domestic double.
After missing the first half of the season due to a hamstring injury, De Bruyne returned to action in January. Although he has pushed back on approaches from Saudi Arabia in the past, Al Nassr from the Saudi Pro League are reported to be interested in signing him during the upcoming transfer window. Negotiators from Al Nassr and the Saudi Pro League are expected to make contact with De Bruyne in the coming weeks to discuss a potential move.
While it is more likely that De Bruyne will extend his contract with Manchester City, there is a slim possibility that he may consider offers from Saudi Arabia. With other ambitious teams from the Middle-East league potentially joining the race for his signature, De Bruyne could be open to exploring his options as he enters the final years of his top-level playing career.
