Manchester City fans are preparing for the upcoming match against Arsenal without their club captain Kyle Walker, as per a recent fitness report.
The English defender, who played for England against Brazil over the weekend, had to leave the game early due to a hamstring injury he sustained while preventing a goal. Despite trying to continue, Walker was eventually replaced in the game.
Concerns have now turned to Manchester City’s next game against Arsenal in the Premier League. Initial hopes of Walker featuring in the game have diminished following a new report.
According to a report by MailSport’s Jack Gaughan and Sami Mokbel, Kyle Walker is now a ‘serious doubt’ for Manchester City’s match against Arsenal on Sunday.
Walker is one of several players with fitness concerns for Manchester City as they prepare to face Arsenal. Pep Guardiola is likely to provide updates on the squad’s fitness ahead of the game.
While there are doubts about Walker’s availability, Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish are reportedly working towards full fitness and could provide a positive boost for Manchester City.
