Manchester City supporters were given a glimpse into Jack Grealish’s recovery journey from his recent groin injury setback.

The England international forward has been dealing with a groin injury for the second time this season, starting from his match against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League.

Grealish had to sit out of Pep Guardiola’s starting line-ups for a while but made a comeback in the European last-16 first leg match. Unfortunately, he had to be substituted early in the game due to a muscle problem, which kept him out of action for a longer period. He returned to play against Luton in the FA Cup but had to leave the field once again due to the same issue.

Manchester City granted him extended leave to recover from the injury. Recently, Grealish shared a 10-photo Instagram post giving a behind-the-scenes look into his recovery process at the City Football Academy before his return to action.

The post included activities like swimming, gym work, and on-the-ball sessions, with Grealish mentioning, “Lonely month working my way back.”

Grealish made a return to the matchday squad against Newcastle United in the FA Cup quarter-finals but did not play, as Bernardo Silva scored two goals to secure a victory for Manchester City.

Up next, Grealish will aim to return to the field as Manchester City take on Arsenal at the end of the month in a crucial Premier League match at the Etihad Stadium.
