Rodri Gives Reasons Why Man City Will Outpace Arsenal in Title Race

Spanish midfielder Rodri believes that Man City will outshine Arsenal for the league title again, following their victory over Mikel Arteta’s team last season.

Arsenal dominated much of last season before succumbing to pressure in the final weeks, allowing City to secure the title for the third consecutive time.

This season, Arsenal currently lead the league with a point ahead of Manchester City. However, City has a game in hand, giving both teams a chance to clinch the title in the upcoming fixtures.

In the midst of the title race, Rodri expressed confidence in City’s ability to draw on their previous experience and unity from the past season to compete for the league glory once more.

“There’s a reason the documentary is called Together! That is what we are,” said Rodri ahead of Sunday’s match against Nottingham Forest.

Emphasizing the unity within the team, Rodri mentioned that all City players and staff are dedicated to working together towards their common goal of winning the league title once again.

“My teammates are incredible and what we continue to do each season is something I am really proud of. We all have the mentality to fight for everything, to win every game and that will never stop. We are always there for each other, and it is a special group to be involved in.

“The feeling of lifting a trophy with our fans is something special and you want that feeling again and again. We are creating a legacy and we always want that taste of success.”

Manchester City Determined To Make History

Manchester City is driven not only by the desire for accolades but also by the opportunity to set a remarkable record in English top-flight history. Winning the title in the remaining five games would make City the first team to achieve four consecutive league titles, motivating them to strive for success.

“It would be history. No team has won four Premier League titles in a row and we want to be the first. We need to keep those blue ribbons on the trophy and we will do everything we can from now until the end of the season to do that,” Rodri stated.
