Rodri has recently expressed his admiration for Manchester City legend David Silva, stating that he would love the opportunity to play alongside him again.
Despite already having the chance to share the field with Silva during his penultimate season at the Etihad Stadium, Rodri continues to hold the former Valencia midfielder in high regard.
Reflecting on his time playing with Silva, Rodri described it as a “pleasure” and emphasized how much he appreciated the experience.
Despite missing out on the chance to play with other Manchester City legends such as Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany, Rodri specifically highlighted his desire to reunite with Silva on the field.
During his debut season at Manchester City, Rodri started 29 Premier League games while Silva started 22, giving him ample time to appreciate the Spaniard’s talent.
In a recent interview with the club’s media channel, Rodri expressed his admiration for Silva, referring to him as “unbelievable” and indicating his willingness to choose him as a teammate once again.
“I played with him and I will choose him again to play with, he was unbelievable”, he revealed while speaking to the club’s in-house media on their YouTube channel.
Rodri’s admiration for David Silva and his desire to play alongside him again showcase the deep respect and appreciation he has for the Manchester City legend.
Despite missing out on the opportunity to fully experience Silva’s brilliance during his time at the club, Rodri’s admiration for his former teammate remains unwavering.
