Manchester City face a challenging next few fixtures compared to their Premier League title rival.
Arsenal defeated Manchester City 1-0 a little over a week ago before the ongoing October international break interrupted Premier League action for a fortnight.
Pep Guardiola’s side looked set to come away from the Emirates with a hard-fought point, having kept the Gunners at bay for 86 minutes.
But Gabriel Martinelli netted a dramatic winner, his curling effort deflecting off Nathan Ake and past a wrong-footed Ederson.
Defeat leaves City in third place going into the international break, with Arsenal leapfrogging them into second while Tottenham are first.
Both Tottenham and Arsenal have won six of their opening eight games of the 2023/24 campaign with Ange Postecoglou’s men leading the way on goals scored. Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Brighton on the same day has added some breathing room.
The second international break of the season is now upon us and Guardiola, who saw his Manchester City side fall to a late Gabriel Martinelli goal on Sunday, has plenty to ponder during the international break.
With that being said, lets takes a look at the next six fixtures for Guardiola’s men and their title rivals.
