Barcelona left ‘upset’ by the Manchester City’s summer transfer decisions

Barcelona are reportedly ‘upset’ with Manchester City and are ‘bothered’ by ‘some attitudes and comments’ made by Pep Guardiola’s side throughout the summer transfer window.

Gundogan completed a free transfer to the La Liga champions, and having failed to take João Cancelo in January, Barcelona were successful in signing the Manchester City player on summer deadline day.

Despite the transfer business, Sport Witness relay a report from Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, which claims that Barcelona have been left “upset” and “bothered” by Manchester City’s actions during the summer transfer window.

The outlet claim that Manchester City wrongly ‘leaked information’ regarding Joao Cancelo’s transfer situation in January – where the full-back eventually signed for Bayern Munich on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Barcelona executives have also reportedly fumed at the ‘attitudes and comments’ of some at the Etihad Stadium.

Furthermore, the La Liga side have suggested that the Sky Blues ‘tried to take away’ a trio of Barcelona academy stars during the summer window.

Lamine Yamal, Alejandro Balde and Pau Cubarsi were all claimed to be subject to interest from the City Football Academy.
