Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly seen a first offer for Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva rejected by the Premier League champions.
Silva is the subject of interest for several clubs ahead of the new season and the Champions League winners are said to be growing pessimistic about keeping their key star.
Silva has two years left on his contract at the Etihad Stadium but the Portugal international has been linked with a move away throughout the last two summers.
The Portugal international is once again weighing up his options this summer, with the Ligue 1 side among three potential options for him away from Manchester City, with one understood to be the cash-stricken FC Barcelona on a loan agreement.
According to Duncan Castles via Daily Record, Manchester City have rejected an opening offer from PSG for Bernardo Silva.
There is also said to be interest from Saudi Arabia and Barcelona but Silva has made Paris his first choice destination, although City hope to persuade Silva to extend his contract.
City remain hopeful of convincing Silva to stay at the club and would like him to extend his contract. His current deal expires in 2025, and the club may need to force the Portugal international to make a decision over his future.
